Demi L. Messer

Demi Messer joined Eppes & Plumblee in April of 2022. She was born and raised in Woodruff, South Carolina. Demi knew she wanted to be an attorney since she was ten years old. She was the first in her family to graduate with a bachelor's degree and is a first generation lawyer. Demi started her career in law as an attorney with the 13th Circuit Public Defender where she gained extensive knowledge and experience in criminal law defending indigent defendants. Throughout her career she has focused on criminal law and representing hundreds of clients and their rights in different levels of criminal court. She approaches each case with a creativity and grit that allows her to excel through negotiations and at trial. While advocating for clients, she has been described as "professionally aggressive" with "great communication."  She loves the practice of law and loves defending the rights of her clients. She is an animal lover and especially loves her dogs. She spends her free time building fires and enjoying her backyard with her dogs and friends. Demi is a firm believer that individuals charged with a crime deserve second chances and strong legal services to help them through a difficult time. Demi is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with the community and provide those strong legal services.
